Answers to common questions
Do I need Spotify or Apple developer accounts?
No. Playlists are played via public embeds assigned by your administrator. No API keys or OAuth developer setup is required for standard playback.
Why does playback not start automatically?
Check that the current day and time are within your account playing hours. Some browsers require one click to start audio (especially Spotify and Apple Music). Open the platform player and click “Start playback” if shown.
How are playlists assigned?
An administrator assigns a playlist ID or URL per user and platform in the admin area. You can also have fallback playlists stored on your user profile.
What are the play and pause intervals?
During allowed playing hours, the system plays for a random duration between 61 and 600 seconds, then pauses for 0 to 600 seconds, and repeats.
Where can I change my playing hours?
Logged-in users can update days and times under Account settings. Administrators can also set them when editing a user.
